What Makes LIMITED PACK GX – RA YELLOW – Different?
LIMITED PACK GX – RA YELLOW – focuses specifically on the second-year Duel Academy period of Jaden Yuki rather than covering the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! GX storyline. The set combines cards associated with Jaden with a strong selection of D-HERO cards used by Aster Phoenix, alongside cards connected to other friends and rivals from this period of the anime.
The product was also originally offered as a made-to-order release through KONAMI Style and participating Satellite Shops in Japan, distinguishing it from a standard widely distributed OCG booster set. Its combination of newly OCG-printed anime cards, nostalgic reprints, and CLASSIC-STYLE treatments gives the set appeal to both GX-era collectors and active OCG players.
10 Anime Cards Make Their OCG Debut
One of the biggest highlights of LIMITED PACK GX – RA YELLOW – is the inclusion of 10 cards that appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime but had never previously been released as official OCG cards. These cards make their physical OCG debut in this product, transforming previously anime-only concepts into playable cards.
All 10 newly introduced cards are also among the 12 card types available in Prismatic Secret Rare, giving collectors an additional premium treatment to pursue beyond their standard Ultra Rare versions.
CLASSIC-STYLE Cards & Anime-Inspired D-HERO Designs
CLASSIC-STYLE cards recreate the visual presentation used on cards during earlier eras of the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG, giving selected returning cards a more nostalgic appearance. The treatment is especially significant for the D-HERO cards in this release, which use designs inspired by how the cards appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.
This makes the CLASSIC-STYLE lineup more than a simple rarity variation. It provides collectors with alternate presentations that connect the physical OCG more closely to the visual identity of the GX era and Aster Phoenix’s D-HERO deck.
