More mesh cores means more surface area making contact with your e-liquid at once, so you get bigger vapor and can run higher wattage. Single mesh is the more efficient, lower-wattage option.

Do I need to prime a new coil before using it?
Yes. Apply a few drops of e-liquid directly to the exposed wicking holes and let it sit 5-10 minutes before your first vape, so the cotton fully saturates. Firing a dry coil can scorch the wick immediately.
